Weinberg: The grapes for this dry Riesling come from our sustainable
cultivated , steeply sloping vineyards high above the Moselle. The grapes are a carefully selected mixture of our 3 steep slopes :
Burgberg , Ungsberg and Schlossberg.
Specifications: 12% alcohol , 7.6 g / l residual sugar , 6.6 g / l acid .
Production Note: The grapes are fermented at cool temperatures, then vinified to 60% in wooden barrels and 40% in Sahltanks. Following a brief addition malolactic fermentation.
Tasting Notes: The Devon Riesling is a rich dry wine from late-harvested grapes in the fall. This full-bodied wine with its beautiful viscosity has a pleasant flavor and contains aromas of apple pie.
